[P09] Set Up a Single-Event Site

Summary

The operator sets up a site devoted to one event, whose home page is the event page and whose other pages use the same parts.

Actor & Context

Actor: Operator, site editor
Frequency: Per single-event site; a few a year
Precondition: The event exists in EMS
Entry point: Creating a new site on the platform

Main Flow

  1. The operator creates the site and onboards it (P10).

  2. The operator sets the site to single-event and chooses its event.

  3. The home page becomes that event’s page; the editor adds further pages using the same parts.

Alternative Flows

  • AF-1: The event recurs yearly: the operator points the site at the new edition; past editions remain reachable as past events.

Acceptance Criteria

  • The home page shows the chosen event’s page (PS-ST-02)

  • Parts on other pages default to the site’s event

The calls below are named by purpose; their exact form is defined in the public site design.

Notes

This use case is independent of the CMS. How each implementation realises it is documented with that implementation.
