[P03] Add Event to Calendar

Summary

A visitor puts an event into their own calendar from its event page, so that the date, place and a link back to the page are in front of them.

Actor & Context

Actor: Visitor
Frequency: Occasional, per event
Precondition: The visitor is on an event page
Entry point: The Add to calendar control in the event details part

Main Flow

  1. The visitor chooses Google Calendar, Outlook, or an iCalendar file.

  2. The calendar entry carries the event’s name, start and end, venue address, and a link to the event page.

Alternative Flows

  • AF-1: All-day or multi-day event: the entry spans the correct dates.

  • AF-2: Event changes in EMS: a subscribed site feed (P01) reflects the change; a downloaded file does not.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Each option produces an entry with correct local times and the venue address (PS-PP-02)

  • The entry links back to the event page
