[P04] View Start Lists and Results

Summary

Before an event a participant checks the published start list; afterwards participants and spectators look up results. Both come from EMS, so the site shows them as soon as they are published there.

Actor & Context

Actor: Visitor, participant
Frequency: Around each event; heavy on the day and the day after
Precondition: Start lists or results are published in EMS
Entry point: An event page, or a past event in the event list

Main Flow

  1. The event page shows the start lists part with each published list, its release time and a download.

  2. After the event the results part shows the published result sets, linking to the full results.

Alternative Flows

  • AF-1: Provisional list: the part marks it provisional and shows when it was released.

  • AF-2: Nothing published yet: the part says when to expect it, or shows nothing.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Lists and results appear on the site without an editor uploading a file (PS-PP-08, PS-PP-09)

  • Release times are shown

Notes

This use case is independent of the CMS. How each implementation realises it is documented with that implementation.
